The day after I left my full time job, risking everything to see what’s outside of 10-12 hours days 6 to 7 days a week in a town of less than 700 people, I suddenly realized I have a lot of time on my hands.
In fact, ALL of my TIME are now OWNED and OPERATED by ME now! Muahahaha… 😅
It was a really weird feeling in the beginning…
I don’t have to get up by 6am and be at work by 7am…
Don’t have to worry about my task lists and unanswered emails…
Even the habit of checking my phone for emails every 10 mins starting to feel silly…
Free of all the emergencies! What a feeling right!

Such unfamiliar feelings after over a decade of busy work. I felt a bit lost in the beginning and sometimes confused as to Now What?
What Am I missing out on?
What do I need to learn so I can start my own business and have all the Time AND Money to start enjoying life.
I started searching on the internet as I prepared my very small 640 sq-ft home for sale.
In order to fill in the silence and get away from the same music playlist, I found Podcasts.

Oh man! Let me tell ya. This thing call the Podcast is fantastic! 🤯🤯🤯
It not only brought me back to my childhood times when my grandparents had a subscription radio that are hard wired to a speaker box. We would always make sure to tune in during our favorite story series daily.
This also allows me to absorb knowledge while I’m working on mundane tasks like painting walls and mow the lawn.
I’m Hooked!

I first came across MyWifeQuitHerJob.com thru Jeff Rose’s GoodFinancialCents.com when searching for side hustles. Jeff had a list of 14 Passive Income which since have grown to 28 Passive Income Ideas.
This kick started my journey… nope. My Obsession with e-Commerce and everything that Steve plus his gang of The 4 Musketeers does in e-commerce.
In 2019, I listened to over 100 episodes most of it during a 22 hours round trip drive to Miami for Sellers Summit 2019.
Feel like I was Obsessed? or may be more like Possessed! 🤓🤑

I’ve come to learn that Steve is an extremely frugal entrepreneur.
He will not spend money on any software tools that takes him less than a day to code. If it is too much effort to build his own, he will find the best bang for your buck in striking a balance between necessary features vs cost and not be upset on non-essential options to run his e-commerce businesses.
The best way to learn a new skill or in this case to kickstart my e-commerce journey is to learn from those who have successfully built the life I wanted. Steve had built BumbleBeeLinens, Profitable Online Store, MyWifeQuitHerJob, and Profitable Online Blog all from the ground up.
I joined Steve’s Profitable Online Store course (POS) in the beginning of 2019.
It might seem expansive for an online course but it is a bargain when you realized the amount of information covered is equivalent to getting a Master’s Degree in e-Commerce.
